全然知らなかったのですが、英国のロカビリー＆サイコビリーレーベル Nervous Records のTシャツが、ユナイテッドアローズの Monkey Time より。Restless、Catmen、Matchbox、Sharks、そして、Nervous のロゴTの5種類。欲しいかどうかは別にして、こういうバンドが取り上げられることが嬉しいですね。どれも、Nervous Records を代表するバンドたちで、どれも名盤です。Restless 好きだったなぁ。

Monkey Time × Nervous Records
イギリスで1979年に生まれたインディペンデントレコードレーベル「Nervous Records」。The JetsやPolecatsのレコードリリースを皮切りに、The Deltas、The Ricochets、The Sharks、Skitzoなど、当時ネオ・ロカビリー/サイコビリー界の大御所バンドのレコードを数多くリリースし、老舗ロカビリーレーベルとしてのステータスを確立。現代の”ロカビリーミュージックはノスタルジア”という風潮を一掃すべく、世間がロカビリーを”レトロ”と呼ぶ今日、常に新しい”Ted”バンドを探し続けるその姿勢は老舗でありながらも最先端を行くロカビリーレーベルである。
今回、MONKEY TIMEとのコラボレーションとしてNurvous Recordsのレーベルや当時のネオ・ロカビリー/サイコビリーのジャケットデザインを使用したTシャツをリリースします！

ナイキとハズブロが協力して「ナイキ トランスフォーマーズコレクション」なるシリーズを今月末に発売するようです。今回発売されるのは、クラシックトランスフォーマーズをモチーフにした3種 [Megatron (Nike Zoom Flight Club) / Soundwave (Nike Sharkalaid) / Bumblebee (Nike Zoom FP)]。スニーカーはともあれ、フック付きのパッケージがおもちゃみたいでかわいいです。

　去年の “Hyperdunk Marty McFly” に続いて、今年は “Hypermax” の Marty McFly カラーが来月あたり発売されるみたい (Nike Hypermax NFW Back to the Future “McFly” Detailed Pics)。去年のHyperdunkは350足限定とか・・・、発売直後から恐ろしい値段になってましたけど、今年もアメリカの限定されたNike Basketball Retailerにて、Very限定数を販売とのことで、毎度毎度、ビフに「チキン・チキン・チキン」と頭をこづかれるマーティもついつい逆上、ジェニファーに欲情で御座います。

　当分、無理矢理でも毎日更新してみようと思ったのですが、1日外してしまいました・・・。
　The Specials 30th Anniversary を記念して、Fred Perryより2Toneなポロ2種類と、シャツが2009年6月21(日)まで予約受付中。パっとみた感じ、ありそうなデザインですけど、胸にはおなじみの白黒パレットが。で、お値段は、17,325円也。
　関係ないですけど、1981年発行のNick Daviesという人のThe Specialsの歌詞にイラストが描かれた”The Specials Illustrated Songbook“という本、とてもかわいいです。僕の大好きなR. Crumbスタイル。たまにオークションに出品されるらしいのですが、けっこうな値段になるみたい。ここにはほぼ全ページの写真([Section4]の部分がComing Soonですが・・・。)がありました。Nick Daviesは、The Specialsの解散後、残ったメンバーで結成されたSpecial AKAのシングル “What I Like Most About You Is Your Girlfriend” ジャケットも描いているのですが、こちらはまた違ったスタイルの絵ですね。Nick Daviesのインタビューはこちら。長く絶版になっているこの本を復刻する予定は？の質問に、「復刻の予定はないんだけど、もし、ご要望があれば、この本に入らなかったイラストを追加して復刻（多分カラー？）してもいいかもね」ってこと。
